how my life went

April 2022admitted to Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram after their entrance exam and interview.

September 2022joined the U-17 Football Team at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram.

January 2023achieved Rank 44 in the Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP), out of 67,000+ students; received a INR 5,000 scholarship and the Principal's Gold Medal for Excellence in Academics.

October 2023achieved Top 1% in the Pivotal International Essay Competition. this was where I started becoming interested in AI policy and eventually conducted an extensive research project on the same!

November 2023awarded First Place nationwide at the Masters' Union National Startup Weekend 2023.

December 2023joined the Edunomix Institute as a Research Associate.

February 2024became REALLY interested in the mission of financial literacy, and became the Founder and President of the India Chapter of the Edunomix Institute.

May 2024appointed Class 11 Student Council Member at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram.

June 2024became the Chief Financial Officer of TaxCity Education India, joining Manas Sood, a senior of mine, in our new journey of gamifying tax literacy in India.

December 2024started the Decoded Podcast because a friend of mine (studying at ISBF) had always wanted to approach Prof. Soumitra Mookherjee, but didn't fully understand the work he did in research (Prof. Mookherjee became our first guest :)). this simple thing lead to a HUGE organisation that i'm proud to lead today :)

January 2025started tutoring students in Mathematics at schoolhouse.world; later became a Bronze Level Tutor!

January 2025continuing my grade 10th research project on AI Policy under the guidance of Professor Surbhi Goel.

May 2025 – June 2025studied pure mathematics on a full ride at the residential Lodha Genius Programme, one of the funnest summers of my life.

late June 2025 – July 2025interned in the Office of Mr. Rahul Pachori (Director at the Ministry of Education, Government of India), contributing to internal policy analysis on the Samagra Shiksha Scheme and gaining firsthand insight into India's education system and the policy work behind expanding access to education and financial literacy.

July 2025studied ESG & Culture in Marketing under Professor Barry Hung, Lecturer in the Department of Management (I loved bringing the concepts back to a new course at the Edunomix India Summer 2025 Webinars!).

July 2025AI Policy work got published in the International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET)!

July 2025became President of the Student Council of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, leading a student body of 9,500+ students!

August 2025admitted to The New York Academy of Sciences to work under Dr. Nandhini Sivakumar, Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Motor Neuron Center (Columbia University), on a research project in energy infrastructure.

August 2025 – April 2026started the Continued Learning Programme, selected for preparing for the India Team for ETEAM and ITYM, as part of the top 10% of Lodha Genius Scholars.

September 2025achieved Merit in both National and Regional Categories in the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) 2025, qualifying for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO).

September 2025appointed Captain of the Football Team of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram!

August 2025 – November 2025completed the Shadow the Scientists Programme at the University of California, Santa Cruz. learnt a lot and got the chance to interview a scientist for my podcast!

November 2025presented my AI Policy research paper at the NYC STEM 2025 Conference under the chairship of Dr. Deepak Singh.

December 2025won three Spotify for Creators 2025 Awards for Decoded, along with crossing over 300 listening hours on Spotify :)

January 2026awarded by the President of India for my work in AI!!

April 2026attended Y-Combinator Startup School India, granted $25,000 in compute to continue my work in financial literacy through FinKid (recognised by IIT Bombay for innovation).

May 2026 – June 2026worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Lodha Genius Programme (fully hosted at Ashoka University for one month), teaching four courses in mathematics while receiving a competitive stipend.

May 2026 – July 2026conducted research in advanced number theory under the mentorship of Professor Shanta Laishram, Head of the Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi; 10K INR research stipend.

June 2026accepted to Y-Combinator Startup School in San Francisco ($25,000 compute).

July 2026started researching Financial Misinformation in Indian Social Media under the guidance of Professor Hemant Kakkar.

August 2026attended the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Virtual Conference 2026 (VCONF) as an India Delegate, and got a chance to speak about my financial literacy initiatives in India!

August 2026launched the second edition of the Edunomix India Essay Competition, after a hugely successful first edition in 2025.

September 2026completed the Decoded Podcast's first collaboration with HERizon, a national, student-led initiative working to make STEM more accessible and inclusive for young women — from the announcement to how it went.

September 2026started Project Fermat with Ishaan Harish, a friend of mine, to tell more students about the olympiads i never knew about in middle school.
