Akshat Bhaskar is a student researcher working across economics, artificial intelligence, and public policy, and President Student Council of the 9,500 students at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. He was felicitated by the President of India as one of seventeen students nationwide under the Government of India's SOAR initiative, and has published peer-reviewed research on AI policy, conducted under a University of Pennsylvania professor, in IJRASET. He founded and leads the India Chapter of the Edunomix Institute, a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing economics education, and serves as CFO of TaxCity, a Ministry of Education recognised initiative that has reached 79,000+ students across 27 countries. At the Lodha Genius Programme he completed graduate-level mathematics, conducted original research in pure number theory under a professor at the Indian Statistical Institute, and attended lectures by Nobel laureates. He hosts Decoded, a podcast on economics and technology recognised with three Spotify for Creators awards in 2025.
