I realized recently that one of my friend had linked my blog to his fake id. Through an inbuilt facebook feature, whenever I posted a new post on my blog, it was posted as a note from his id. And also, he did the digital equivalent of locking a door and swallowing the key: He forgot the password and the password recovery answers too. And it is irritating, but I don’t mind anymore. Here’s how you can do it though:
- Go to Facebook’s Notes application.
- On the right, under Note Settings, there is an option called “Import a Blog”.
- Just click on it, follow the on-screen instructions and you’re done! Easy as pi.
What’s irritating though, is that Facebook doesn’t check that the blog is yours, only takes your word for it. Therefore making pulling such pranks very easy.
What would simply importing your blog posts achieve for that guy?
Idk. He just likes it when people write appreciatory comments on his notes thinking its his work. Fucktard. :S
