I hate corn swaying in the breeze. It looks slutty.
2008, like so may of those other years, had whooshed off making that noise which reminds you of daffodils and golden crops swaying gently in the breeze. In other words, I absolutely hated it.
This year, though, was quite awesome indeed. Started with a bang, ended with a bang, and had plenty of bangs in between to keep me entertained.
The good: The Sims 3 and GTA IV finally make their way to the market, a sixth H2G2 book is finally written, Facebook dominates the world of social networking, Amity Saket gives its best shot till now at SpaceSet

The bad: Recession and economic depression show their ugly face, Microsoft bans Xbox live accounts of users using modded sets, MJ dies a tragic death, haunts YouTube with his ghost.
The terribly ugly: Barrack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize, The PSP Go fails miserably to meet expectations, Ankit Fadia tries to impress people by cracking lame PJs and presenting stuff he googled in the lunch break on his show What The Hack, our school proxy becomes smarter than before
And now, what can be expected from the next one one? Will the Sixth Sense Device become commercially available and revolutionize the world of gadgets? Will The Elder Scrolls 5 finally be released? Maybe or maybe not. Will System of a Down end their hiatus? Will Douglas Adams rise from the dead and then live (or die) to write 42 books in the H2G2 series? Maybe or maybe not. Will Will Smith sue me for using his first name so many times in the same paragraph? Maybe or maybe not.
All I can say yet, is, a very happy, non-panicky new year to all! Party hard and hog harder!
